Frequently asked questions
Is it safe?
Absolutely. The experienced pilots at rockies Heli and state-of-the-art helicopters prioritize your safety at all times.
What should we wear?
Dress in layers and sturdy footwear. Depending on the season, different attire will be suggested. However, even if it's warm at the base it might be winter at the top!
What if the Weather is bad and we can't fly?
Since safety is the number 1 priority, in some instances the weather is too bad to fly. In this situation the flight will be pushed back to later in the day or to the next day.
Can we bring guests?
The helicopters accommodate up to 5 passengers, including the couple. For larger parties, contact us for customized arrangements.
Where do we land?
Landing location will be chosen day of. The experienced pilots have numerous landing locations, so if you have a view in mind they can usually accommodate it.
How long is the flight?
The flight is typically about 15 minutes each way with a 2h stop on the mountain top.
